The ROMEO Club

Are you a retired guy that goes out to eat and have conversation with a group of other men? You might call your group ROMEO's or "Retired Old Men Eating Out". There are many such groups around the country. We have formed a National organization to host your group. Check it out at www.romeoclub.org.
Tell me what you think, will you list your group on this website. Why or why not????

We have a group in Houston, TX and would like to have a web page.
Tell us how to do it.

For most of us, the internet became popular after we retired. As such we don't use it much now.we might start a little more use as we learn more about the internet, and how to use it better.

I'm going to my first lunch today in Mathis TX. I see NO TX postings on your site, so I'm guessing either you didn't reply to the Houston fellow, or he fell through in his follow-up.

Also retired but not yet "old" in Mathis TX...

I am looking for a group in the San Diego CA area north of I8 and within 10 miles of the coastline. I am semi-retired as I still do adjunct work at one of the local universities. And a consulting gig occassionaly. I would be interested in a group that sees the problems with our legislatures and local governments and wishes to discuss them. Perhaps even form an action committee. But eating out is of primary concern.

I guess not too many Romeos clubs are aware of this wonderful service as of yet. Hopefully it will grow in popularity.
So far, my members have not either seen the web page that was created for us or are not interested in doing much with it. Time will tell.

My dad started this in north Dakota.
He used to eat out with a group of his friends in Alcoholics anonymous. Most of them are gone now.
